YAVATMAL ZILLA VIKAS SAMITI
Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti was established in the year 1985 initiated by Shri. Mukul Wasnik, Ex. Minister HRD, Shri. Shivajirao Moghe, Ex. Minister for Transport and Self Employment, M. S. and Shri. Jagdish G. Wadhwani Chairman, Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti, Yavatmal. The main objective of the organization was mainly to conduct social and cultural activities in new generation by the way of blood donation, debate competition, Vanmahotsav to lead them in harmony and national & integration.
Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti ventured in the field of education in 1994 .
ABOUT COLLEGE
Diploma course in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) was started in Pataldhamal Wadhwani college of Pharmacy from the academic session 94-95. P. Wadhwani technical institute was started from 94-95, so that students admitted in D. Pharm can get computer education in the same premises which is need of today’s era. Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti is feeling proud to start post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Business Management. Which is first to its kind in Vidarbha region from the academic session 1997-98. Taking into consideration the need of higher education Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti started various higher and technical courses which include Chitrakala (G. D. Art., Dip.A. Ed., ATD, Foundation) and, Bachelor in Art (B. A.) Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) & Junior Science (11th & 12th). P. G. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (PGDMLT) was started from academic year 2003-04. All the colleges are provided with highly qualified, well trained staff, well equipped laboratories, rich library, beautiful scenery and all other required facilities. Around Six hundred students are seeking admission in various courses run by the society every year. Students from different part of India are getting education irrespective of their languages, religion and culture which really adds in National Integrity. In near future society is willing to start 5 year Law Course (L.L.B.) and Diploma in Medical Lab. Technology (DMLT), Bachelor in business administration and other job oriented courses like B. F. A., Computer Courses etc.
Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti have provided School bus to the college so that students living at different parts of the city can suitably reach the college. College own building situated admist excellent scenery and peaceful surrounding which keeps students mind very peaceful.
In the garden a serene temple of Lord Sai is located. It gives tranquility and peace of mind to the students of our college.
